Chicken skewer recipes make the perfect summer night dinner. Quick to grill and easy to customize, these are a delicious dinner for cooking outdoors on warm nights or enjoy them indoors with a stovetop grill or oven.
Whether you are coming home from a long day at work, the beach or you're looking for something to feed a crowd of people at a barbecue, you'll find it all here.
Why Make Chicken Skewers?
Chicken skewer recipes work well as a complete meal if you add veggies to your skewers too. Most of these are gluten-free and dairy-free meaning they make it easy to please a crowd. They are also quick to put together and cook faster than larger, whole pieces of chicken.
Skewers make it fun! These are easily handheld or you can slide them off into a bun or pita for a sandwich or top your favorite salad. Mediterranean Cauliflower Salad, Apple Kale Slaw or Crisp Apple Fennel Salad pair well with chicken skewers. For side dishes, try my Fruit Salsa or Easy Spring Asparagus Risotto.
(To try some of my other chicken recipes, check out Easy Peanut Sauce Baked Chicken, Easy Homemade Palak Chicken, Chicken and Sun Dried Tomato Pasta and Healthy California Chicken Salad With Grapes too.)
Read through for chicken skewer recipes from Asia, the Mediterranean, Hawaii, Jamaica, Italy, India, Brazil and more. Recipes like fajita chicken skewers, chicken kofta kebabs, bacon wrapped maple sriracha skewers, pesto chicken chunks and so many more, there is something here that everyone will love!
(Most of these use cubes of chicken breast or chicken thigh but my personal favorite, the chicken kofta, uses ground chicken.)
