Preheat oven to 350º. Stir flour, cocoa, and salt together in a bowl and set aside
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add and beat in egg and vanilla extract for 1 more minute.
Stir in the flour mixture and mix just until fully incorporated.
Scoop out by the tablespoon and roll into 1 inch balls. Roll the cookie dough balls into nonpareils and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet with about 2 inches of space between each.
Bake for 10 minutes. While the cookies are baking, unwrap Hershey’s Kisses.
As soon as cookies come out of the oven, press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each, and set aside to cool.
Notes
You can roll all sides of the cookies in the colorful festive sprinkles, or just the top and edges, leaving the bottom free.
